Split a list of names into random, balanced teams. Choose the number of teams or maximum team size, keep duplicate names, and copy or download results as CSV.
How to use
Enter one name per line. Blank lines are ignored; duplicate names remain separate people and show their input row in the results.
Choose a team count or maximum team size. For example, 11 people with a maximum of 4 creates teams of 4, 4, and 3. At least two teams are required.
Shuffle into teams, then copy the results or download a UTF-8 CSV. Every person appears once and team sizes differ by at most one.
The browser shuffles all names using cryptographic randomness. This balances headcounts, not skills or experience. Agree on the settings before drawing; drawing again creates a new result.
Inputs and results are processed only in this tab, without automatic saving. Reloading or leaving clears them. Keep any copied text or downloaded CSV private yourself.
