Tournament bracket maker

Create a random single-elimination bracket for 2–64 players. Record match winners, correct results, and save a JSON backup or CSV. No account or upload needed.

How to use

  1. Enter 2–64 participant or team names, one per line. Duplicate names remain separate entries and show their original entry number.
  2. Create a random single-elimination bracket. Names are shuffled with cryptographic randomness before balanced bye slots are assigned. A bye advances a player without a match; it is not a recorded win.
  3. For 5 entries, the 8-slot bracket has 3 byes and needs 4 played matches to produce a champion. Only the first round has byes. Seeding by skill, round-robin play and third-place matches are not supported.
  4. Select the actual winner after each match. The next match opens when both players are known. Correcting or clearing an earlier result also clears dependent later results; Undo restores the previous state.
  5. Save JSON to resume the same bracket later, or copy/download CSV for a match record. Print can save a PDF in supported browsers. The tab does not automatically store names or send them to a server. Reloading clears the open bracket; restore your JSON backup to continue.

Inputs and results are processed only in this tab, without automatic saving. Reloading or leaving clears them. Keep any copied text or downloaded CSV private yourself.
